If you’re an iPhone user and wondering how to save a photo as a PDF on your device, you’ve come to the right place. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of saving a photo as a PDF on your iPhone.
Step 1: Open the Photo App
Start by opening the Photos app on your iPhone. This app is typically found on your home screen and is represented by a multicolored flower icon.
Step 2: Select the Photo
Browse through your photo library and select the photo you want to save as a PDF. Tap on the photo to open it in full-screen mode.
Step 3: Access the Share Menu
Once the photo is open, tap on the share icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen. The share icon is represented by a square with an upward arrow.
Step 4: Choose the Print Option
In the share menu, you will see various options for sharing or saving the photo. Swipe left on the bottom row of icons until you find the “Print” option. Tap on it to proceed.
Step 5: Preview the Photo
After tapping on “Print,” a preview of the photo will appear on your screen. You can pinch and zoom to adjust the size and position of the photo within the preview.
Step 6: Access the Share Menu Again
To save the photo as a PDF, you need to access the share menu once more. To do this, use a two-finger pinch-out gesture on the preview image. This action will open up a new share menu.
Step 7: Save as PDF
In the new share menu, you will see a preview of the photo along with various sharing options. At the bottom row of icons, swipe left until you find the “Save to Files” option. Tap on it to proceed.
Step 8: Choose the Destination Folder
After tapping on “Save to Files,” you will be prompted to choose a destination folder for your PDF file. You can select an existing folder or create a new one by tapping on the “New Folder” option.
Step 9: Save the PDF
Once you have selected the destination folder, tap on the “Save” button located at the top right corner of the screen. Your photo will now be saved as a PDF in the chosen folder.
