“CleanTechnica Reports on Tesla Model 3 and Full Self-Driving (Beta) Performance During 1500-Mile Cross-Country Journey”

CleanTechnica, a leading online publication focused on clean energy and sustainable technology, recently reported on the performance of the Tesla Model 3 and Full Self-Driving (Beta) during a 1500-mile cross-country journey. The journey was undertaken by CleanTechnica’s Director of Research, Zachary Shahan, who drove from Florida to Texas and back in a Tesla Model 3 equipped with Full Self-Driving (Beta). The trip covered a variety of road conditions, including highways, city streets, and rural roads.

According to the report, the Tesla Model 3 performed exceptionally well during the journey. The car’s range was more than sufficient for the long-distance trip, and the Supercharger network provided fast and convenient charging along the way. The Model 3’s handling and acceleration were also praised, with Shahan noting that the car felt “nimble and responsive” on the road.

However, it was the Full Self-Driving (Beta) technology that really impressed Shahan. The system uses cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors to detect and respond to traffic, pedestrians, and other obstacles on the road. It can also navigate complex intersections and make lane changes on its own.

During the journey, Shahan tested the Full Self-Driving (Beta) system extensively, and found that it performed remarkably well. He noted that the system was able to handle a variety of driving scenarios, including heavy traffic, construction zones, and even a few unexpected obstacles.

Overall, the CleanTechnica report provides valuable insights into the capabilities of the Tesla Model 3 and Full Self-Driving (Beta) technology. It demonstrates that electric vehicles are now a viable option for long-distance travel, and that autonomous driving technology is rapidly advancing.
