European Space Agency launches Euclid mission to study dark energy

The European Space Agency (ESA) has recently launched its Euclid mission, a groundbreaking endeavor aimed at studying the mysterious phenomenon known as dark energy. This ambitious project, which involves an international collaboration of scientists and engineers, is expected to provide crucial insights into the nature of the universe and its expansion.

Dark energy is a perplexing concept that has baffled scientists for decades. It is believed to be a form of energy that permeates the entire universe and is responsible for its accelerated expansion. The Euclid mission seeks to shed light on this enigma by mapping the distribution of dark matter and dark energy throughout the cosmos.
