European Startup Funding Rounds: Week of February 27 – March 3

The European startup scene is buzzing with activity, and the week of February 27 – March 3 was no exception. A number of startups across the continent secured funding rounds, with a total of $1.2 billion raised. In the UK, the biggest deal of the week was a $300 million Series C round for London-based fintech startup Monzo. Bankin’ has now raised a total of $45 million since its launch in 2014, and is now valued at $200 million.
