Fans Express Disappointment with Ivern Rework on PBE Release

League of Legends players have been eagerly anticipating the release of the Ivern rework on the Public Beta Environment (PBE). However, upon its release, many fans have expressed their disappointment with the changes made to the champion.

Ivern, the Green Father, is a unique champion in League of Legends. He is a support jungler who relies on his ability to create brush and interact with jungle camps in order to clear them quickly. The rework aimed to make Ivern more viable in higher levels of play and to give him more options in terms of playstyle.

One of the main changes made to Ivern was the removal of his passive ability, Friend of the Forest. This ability allowed Ivern to free jungle camps from their roots and turn them into allies. This was a unique mechanic that set Ivern apart from other champions and made him a popular pick among players.

In its place, Riot Games introduced a new passive ability called Rootcaller. This ability allows Ivern to mark an enemy champion or jungle camp, causing his next basic attack or ability to root them. While this ability does provide Ivern with more crowd control options, it does not feel as unique or interesting as his previous passive.

Another change made to Ivern was the reworking of his Q ability, Rootcaller. Previously, this ability allowed Ivern to shoot out a root that would latch onto an enemy champion or jungle camp, pulling him towards them. The rework changed this ability to a skillshot that deals damage and slows enemies hit. While this change does give Ivern more damage potential, it also removes some of his utility and makes him less effective at ganking.

Fans have also expressed disappointment with the changes made to Ivern’s ultimate ability, Daisy!. Previously, Daisy! was a controllable pet that could be used to tank damage and deal damage to enemies. The rework changed Daisy! into a stationary pet that deals damage and slows enemies in an area around her. While this change does give Ivern more teamfight potential, it also removes some of the fun and unique aspects of his ultimate.

Overall, fans are disappointed with the changes made to Ivern in the rework. While the changes do give Ivern more damage potential and teamfight potential, they also remove some of the unique mechanics that made him a popular pick among players. It remains to be seen whether Riot Games will make any further changes to Ivern before his official release, but for now, fans are left feeling disappointed with the rework.
