NIO Reports 33.1% Increase in Sales and Secures Battery Swapping Deal with Geely – CleanTechnica

Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer NIO has recently reported a significant increase in sales and has secured a battery swapping deal with Geely, a major Chinese automaker. These developments highlight NIO’s growing prominence in the EV market and its commitment to innovative solutions for sustainable transportation.

NIO announced that its sales for the month of May 2021 reached 6,711 units, representing a remarkable 95.3% year-on-year increase. This surge in sales can be attributed to the company’s expanding product lineup, which includes popular models like the ES8, ES6, and EC6. NIO’s strong performance in the Chinese market is a testament to the increasing demand for electric vehicles and the company’s ability to deliver high-quality, technologically advanced EVs.
