Norwegian Company Unveils 66-Tonne Electric Truck for Trial Run

Norway is no stranger to electric vehicles, but a new electric truck unveiled by the Norwegian company NTE has taken the country’s commitment to green transportation to a whole new level. The 66-tonne electric truck is the largest of its kind in the world and is set to be tested on Norwegian roads in the near future.

The truck, which is powered by a battery pack and two electric motors, is capable of carrying up to 66 tonnes of cargo and can travel up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. This makes it an ideal choice for long-haul trips, as it can cover large distances without needing to stop for refueling.

The truck is also equipped with a range of advanced safety features, including lane departure warning, emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. This ensures that the truck can be operated safely and efficiently, even in challenging conditions.

The trial run of the truck will be used to test its performance and reliability in real-world conditions. This will help NTE determine if the truck is suitable for commercial use and if it can be used to reduce emissions and improve air quality in Norway.

The electric truck is part of NTE’s commitment to reducing emissions and promoting green transportation. The company has already invested heavily in electric buses and has plans to introduce more electric vehicles in the future.

The trial run of the 66-tonne electric truck is an important step towards a greener future for Norway. If successful, it could pave the way for more electric vehicles on Norwegian roads and help reduce emissions and improve air quality across the country.
