“Rumored VR Games Subscription Service ‘Quest Pass’ Reportedly In Development”

In recent news, it has been rumored that Facebook is developing a subscription service for their virtual reality (VR) gaming platform, Oculus Quest. Dubbed “Quest Pass”, the service would allow users to access a library of VR games for a monthly fee.

The news of the potential subscription service was first reported by UploadVR, who cited anonymous sources familiar with the project. According to the report, Quest Pass would be similar to other subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Now. It would offer access to a library of games for a monthly fee, with new titles being added on a regular basis.

The report also suggests that Quest Pass could be integrated into Facebook’s existing Oculus Store, allowing users to purchase individual games as well as access the subscription library. It is unclear if the service would be available on other platforms such as Steam or the PlayStation Store.

If the rumors are true, Quest Pass could be a major boon for Oculus Quest owners. The platform currently has over 50 titles available, but the library is still relatively small compared to other platforms. A subscription service would give users access to a much larger selection of games, as well as the ability to try out new titles without having to purchase them outright.

It is important to note that these rumors have yet to be confirmed by Facebook or Oculus. However, if the reports are true, it could be a major step forward for the VR gaming industry. With more games available and an easier way to access them, more people may be encouraged to try out virtual reality gaming. Only time will tell if Quest Pass is real or not, but it could be a game-changer for the industry if it does come to fruition.
