Women’s History Month Celebrations, Raspberry Pi 11th Anniversary, SNES Mouse to USB HID Conversion with CircuitPython, and More: Adafruit Weekly Editorial Round-Up

It’s been a busy week in the world of tech and electronics, with a variety of exciting news and events taking place. This week’s Adafruit Weekly Editorial Round-Up brings you the latest updates on Women’s History Month Celebrations, the Raspberry Pi 11th Anniversary, SNES Mouse to USB HID Conversion with CircuitPython, and more.

First up, it’s Women’s History Month! To celebrate the accomplishments of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), Adafruit has been highlighting inspiring female makers and engineers throughout the month of March. From Ada Lovelace to Grace Hopper, we’ve been celebrating the achievements of women in STEM and encouraging more girls and women to pursue careers in these fields.

Next, this week marked the 11th anniversary of the Raspberry Pi. Since its launch in 2012, the Raspberry Pi has become one of the most popular single-board computers in the world. To celebrate this milestone, Adafruit has been sharing stories from the Raspberry Pi community, as well as tutorials and projects that use the Raspberry Pi.

Also this week, Adafruit shared a tutorial on how to convert an SNES mouse to a USB HID device using CircuitPython. This project is perfect for retro gaming enthusiasts who want to use their classic SNES mouse with modern computers. The tutorial includes step-by-step instructions on how to build the circuit, write the code, and test it out.

Finally, Adafruit also shared a variety of other projects and tutorials this week. From a tutorial on how to make a DIY air quality monitor using an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense board to a guide on how to use the Circuit Playground Express to create a light-up greeting card, there’s something for everyone.

That’s all for this week’s Adafruit Weekly Editorial Round-Up. Be sure to check back next week for more exciting news and projects from the world of tech and electronics!
