Air Canada and CAE have recently announced the eight recipients of the 2023 Captain Judy Cameron Scholarship for Aspiring Women in Aviation. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to women who are interested in pursuing a career in aviation. The scholarship is named in honor of Captain Judy Cameron, a former Air Canada pilot who was the first female pilot to fly a commercial jetliner in Canada. <\/p>\n

The scholarship is open to Canadian women who are currently enrolled in an aviation program or are planning to enroll in one. The recipients will receive up to $10,000 in financial assistance to help cover the costs of their education and training. The scholarship also includes mentorship from Air Canada and CAE, as well as access to internships and other opportunities. <\/p>\n

-Kelsey Anderson from Montreal, Quebec <\/p>\n

-Emma Jones from St. John\u2019s, Newfoundland <\/p>\n

These eight women were selected from a pool of over 200 applicants. The selection committee was impressed by the quality of the applications and the passion that each applicant had for pursuing a career in aviation. <\/p>\n

Air Canada and CAE are proud to support these eight women as they pursue their dreams of becoming pilots. This scholarship is an important step in helping to create a more diverse and inclusive aviation industry.
